We are urgently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Scientific Representative to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role focuses on promoting molecular diagnostics tests in oncology and developing relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to promote molecular diagnostic tests to healthcare professionals, including physicians, and other key decision-makers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for medical and scientific inquiries related to our services, providing accurate and timely information to healthcare professionals.
- Conduct scientific presentations, workshops, and training sessions to educate healthcare professionals on the clinical utility and benefits of our molecular diagnostics tests.
- Collaborate closely with the commercial teams to develop and execute commercial strategies aimed at increasing market penetration and driving revenue growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory, actively prospecting and engaging with potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), professional associations, and advocacy groups in the field of molecular diagnostics.
- Stay abreast of the latest scientific developments, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making and strategy development.
- Collect and analyse market intelligence, including customer feedback and competitor activities, to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives, with commission offered for meeting or exceeding performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, such as Life Sciences, Medical Bioscience, Biotechnology, or related discipline. Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare or life sciences industry, with a focus on molecular diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of molecular biology principles, genetic testing technologies, and diagnostic applications in clinical settings.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-driven mindset with a commitment to achieving sales targets and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Proficiency in English and Malay required.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
This 3-month contract offers the opportunity for a permanent position based on performance review. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the commercial success of our molecular diagnostics products in Malaysia.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Phlebotomy and Specimen Collection:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred.
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
- Experience in NGS, FISH, IHC, PCR, and other molecular diagnostics preferred.
